1. Use of the aveiroemotions.com platform
Anyone who accesses, browses and uses the aveiroemotions.com website is considered a user who acknowledges and consents that they have read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
Reservations for services included on this website must be governed, in addition to these terms and conditions, by the specific conditions established by each economic agent in the participating sector (hereinafter referred to as "Partner"), which will be available throughout the reservation process.
These terms and conditions may be amended whenever necessary, and apply to all our services available online, by email, by telephone, by chat or through social networks. You should check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the latest version. The terms and conditions are translated into other languages, but, in case of conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.
The use of the platform for illegal purposes, including modification, reproduction, copying or distribution thereof, is strictly prohibited.
2. Scope of Our Services
The website aveiroemotions.com offers and promotes the sale of services and products to the public, its own and those of partners, which correspond to the quality levels established by the standards of Espaço de Experiences, Lda (hereinafter, referred to as "Aveiro Emotions").
Through this website we provide an online technological tool, from which partners can advertise their services and products for reservation, and visitors/users of the platform can formalize their reservations and purchases online through their choices (hereinafter , referred to as “Our Services”).
3. Registration / Account Opening
3.1. Opening a User Account / Registration
Before booking a service on aveiroemotions.com, it is necessary to register, providing personal information to use some of the platform's resources (example: making a reservation). Registration is free and you are automatically subscribed to our Newsletter.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to terminate your account at any time, with or without reason.
3.2. Eligibility to register/book
You must be at least 18 years of age to register on the site and make a reservation.
3.3. Useful Information
When registering on aveiroemotions.com, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information. Aveiro Emotions is not responsible if a service booked by you cannot be carried out due to incorrect information. In this case, the price paid is not refunded.
3.4. Number of User accounts
The registration of more than one user account (username and login) for the same natural or legal person is not permitted. A user's account is not transferable.
4. Reservation
4.1. Confirmation / Non-Confirmation
The Experiences offered have a very characteristic specificity, these are mostly small units, and on the other hand, the activities available on our website require great preparation, both in material and human resources, to guarantee the quality of the services to be provided. For this reason, immediate confirmation reservations are non-refundable.
Aveiro Emotions offers you three ways to make your reservation:
4.1.1. Instant Booking
Reservation of services and products on the website is immediate, unless you provide invalid and/or incorrect credit/debit card information for payment.
Your reservation will be irrevocably binding when you click "Confirm" on our website.
Confirmation of your reservation will be sent by email, so it is your responsibility to provide a correct email address. Please read and carefully check all information contained in our confirmation email to ensure it complies with your booking. You are obliged to present this confirmation email when you arrive at the partner to use the service you have booked: (i) in the case of an accommodation reservation, you must also present your valid identification card or passport at check-in; (ii) for reservations of other types of services, you must be careful to arrive on time, and if you do not show up at the scheduled time, you must report the delay. Delay may lead to the cancellation of your reservation, without the right to a refund.
4.1.2. Reservation Subject to Availability
Booking services and products on the website is not immediate in this case (you will be informed during the booking process of the maximum confirmation period).
Your reservation will be irrevocably binding when you click "Confirm" on our website.
Initially, the details of your reservation will be sent by email (in the first email) and subsequently the Status of your Reservation "confirmation" or "non-confirmation" within a maximum period of 48 hours (in the second email).
In the event of non-confirmation due to lack of available dates, we will make every effort to provide you with a comparable alternative, but acceptance of this alternative will depend exclusively on you. In this case, you will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance of the alternative via email.
To handle this entire process, it is your duty to provide a correct email address. Please read and carefully check all information contained in our emails. You are required to present these confirmation emails when you arrive at the partner to use the service you have booked. You must be careful to arrive on time, and if you do not show up at the scheduled time, you must report the delay. Delay may lead to the cancellation of your reservation.
4.1.3. Reservation "On Request"
In this case, you will be asked to complete a reservation form. You must provide all the necessary data for your reservation. In an "On Request" reservation, when submitting the reservation request, the value relative to the requested request will be quoted (e.g., the value of the desired number of nights).
Confirmation of your reservation will be sent by email within a maximum period of 24 hours, so it is your duty to provide a correct email. Please read and carefully check all information contained in our confirmation email to ensure it complies with your booking.
To guarantee the reservation, Aveiro Emotions will request payment of the reservation amount by credit/debit card or bank transfer, as can be seen in number "7. Payment" of this document.
You are required to present confirmation emails when you arrive at the partner to use the service you have booked: (i) in the case of an accommodation reservation, you must also present your valid identification card or passport at check-in; (ii) for reservations of other types of services, you must be careful to arrive on time, and if you do not show up at the scheduled time, you must report the delay. 4.2. Reservation Consultation
At any time you can consult information regarding your reservations, through your reserved area "Manage My Reservations". The reserved area can be accessed through the link located at the top of the platform or through the link provided in the email with your reservation details.
4.3. Other Information
4.3.1. Passport and Visas
It is the responsibility of any user, regardless of nationality and destination, to be aware, through the embassy or consulate, of the requirements necessary for entry into Portugal.
Visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, so we recommend that you check the requirements before your departure.
The client must have their personal or family documentation in good order (identity card, military documentation, authorization for minors, passport, visas, vaccination certificate and others that may be required). Aveiro Emotions declines any responsibility for refusing to grant visas or not allowing the client to enter Portugal; In these cases, the conditions established in point "8. Cancellation and Non-Attendance" apply, and any and all costs that this situation may entail will be borne by the customer.
4.3.2. Insurance
Aveiro Emotions and its Partners carry Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance, which is mandatory in Portugal for Tourist Entertainment Agents. The user is responsible for taking out all other insurance. Neither Aveiro Emotions nor our partners can be held responsible for expenses or losses that may occur due to the purchase of inadequate insurance. We recommend that at the time of booking, you also take out insurance suitably suited to your experience.
4.3.3. Unpaid services
If you do not pay for the reserved service or revoke payment, your claims for service benefits will not be taken into account. This will be considered as a cancellation subject to the conditions inherent in number "6. Cancellation and No Show".
4.3.4. Exchange of Messages
All communication regarding reservations must be made through the Aveiro Emotions reservation platform and their email addresses. Messages that are not handled through the Aveiro Emotions booking platform cannot be accepted and are empty of legal content.
4.3.5. Complaints
Complaints will be considered by registered letter sent to WINENROUTE EVENTS & TOURIS, LDA within a maximum period of 15 days after the end of the experience or as soon as non-conformity occurs, without undue delay, by formulating a complaint in the physical complaints book or in format electronic, the latter submitted through a Digital Platform.
